Network IP based Camera Security and Environmental Monitoring Solution with Integrated Sensor Management.

camera technology to push the boundaries of disaster
control. Now you can sense and see problems before
they lead to business disruptions. The cameraProbe8
blends the heart of the popular sensorProbe8
module with the eyes of a sophisticated CMOS image
sensor to provide the ultimate in disaster management
control.
The camerProbe8 is a low cost, easy to use monitoring solution. The cameraProbe8 is also integrated with a single chip relative humidity and temperature multi sensor module comprising a calibrated digital output. The sensor includes a capacitive polymer sensing element for relative humidity and a bandgap temperature sensor. Both are seamlessly coupled to a 14bit analog to digital converter and a serial interface circuit on the same chip. This results in superior signal quality, a fast response time and insensitivity to external disturbances (EMC). By having both temperature & humidity sensors in a single sensor, the cameraProbe8 can have up to a maximum of 8 temperature & 8 humidity sensors. This extends the capability of the cameraProbe8 to maximum of 16 sensing parameters. Camera Integration Real time full color streaming video is available at 15 frames a second in a web browser on a local area network. Up to 10 streaming video links can be running simultaneously. An informative display shows the current number of open links. This display is protected by two levels of password control. In order to minimize the network loading, network administrators can limit the time that any link is open. Standard JPG formatted pictures are used allowing the use of third party, host tools to store, and analyze the jpgs. Pictures can be easily downloaded from the cameraProbe8 into the local host where standard software can be used. A administrator level access can give you the provision to control the brightness and contrast of the image. Remote Pan and Tilt The cameraProbe8 includes an integrated motor which, under the control of the administrator can be used to pan and tilt the camera. This allows the administrator to change the position of the camera in real time over the internet while viewing the area of interest. Sensor Integration Up to 8 intelligent autosense sensors can be plugged into the RJ-45 ports of cameraProbe8. Once inserted the sensor automatically configures itself and goes online, providing continuous round the clock protection. Our easy to use web based interface allows you to setup the cameraProbe8 in minutes. Once online the sensors use their 4 levels of threshold checking to report any out of bounds condition. The web browser can be loaded from any host machine including Linux to provide remote configuration and streaming video. Alert System Once triggered the cameraProbe8 can send emails, traps and SMS messages. Now these email messages include a picture of the event. All of these events are stored in the syslog for later analysis including a full database of pictures. Up to 146 events, 4 pictures per event for a total of 584 pictures are stored in non volatile flash memory. Later searches provide a full record. The pictorial database can be reviewed easily with our built in web base analysis system. The syslog and all of the pictures are time stamped. The cameraProbe8 even includes a battery backed time of day clock to facilitate record keeping. In order to prevent false alarms the cameraProbe8 provides for extensive filtering of events. You can limit events based on the time of day or the day of the week. You can also limit the number of alerts per hour, so that you are not swamped with messages. This is especially important with sensors like the motion detector, where you may only want to process an event when the business is closed. Once configured, the cameraProbe8's Humidity and Temperature sensors can be easily recorded by OverTime. OverTime finds the names for each of the sensors you have configured and even the scale (C or F) used and configures the appropriate collections and OverTime configurations ready for you to view the long term trending information. Used with TrapSnap and a door sensors you can capture images from the cameraProbe8 store them on your web server with time and date stamps for a record of whoe entered your secure room.
